baby don't go, we'll miss you so much.

when i first heard the grand hour ep, i immediately knew two things: (1) it would completely and utterly annoy the hell out of people; and (2) i'd never heard anything like it before and i loved it.

it's been 11 years since i first heard that ep, and over 9 years since i saw them play live for the very first time. to say that guided by voices has become a part of my life seems an enormous understatement. every song, every ep, every album. the friends i've made, the places i've been, and oh, the things i've seen. all of it is happily kept in my heart, with bits and pieces of it captured on film.

much love to bob and all the people who have made guided by voices happen for the past 21 years. thank you all!
